To stimulate the mind and intellect, we offer programs such as Posit Science Brain Fitness, Life Bio, group crossword puzzles, and trivia. To keep the soul, we provide worship service opportunities, group bible study. To promote the wellness of the body, we provide chair exercise, and a balance/movement class. Our Wellness Center offers fitness equipment and an indoor pool. Our group classes are led by our staff certified fitness instructor. To encourage socialization we offer a variety of group activities, musical entertainment, pet therapy, and social outings.
Christian Care Center, in Mesquite, opened in 1973 as primarily a nursing community with 120 beds. Since then, the campus has expanded to a beautifully landscaped, gated, secure 26-acre complex, next door to a municipal golf course, with mature trees, walking trails, parks, and fish-laden ponds. We are centrally located at East I-30 and I-635 in Mesquite, only 15 minutes from downtown Dallas, and close to shopping, dining, movie theaters, cultural centers, churches, and varied activity-centered venues.
