In Carolina Preserve, our residents will have exclusive use of a 30,000 square foot clubhouse. Amberly Amenities

As part of the larger community of Amberly, residents will also have access to the Amberly Residents' Center. Considered one of the most popular golf courses in North Carolina, Hillandale Golf Club plays more than 50,000 rounds per year. Opened in the early 1900's, this course was designed by Perry Maxwell - a former banker who rebuilt the putting surfaces of Augusta National, Pine Valley, and the National Golf Links. The golf shop at Hillandale was voted the "Nation's Most Outstanding" by the PGA of America, and is one of the best-stocked and largest shops in North Carolina.

Tight, tree-lined fairways place a premium on accuracy off the tee, while small, well-bunkered greens demand pinpoint control on your approach shots. The abundance of water from nearby Swift Creek creates dramatic obstacles on nearly every hole. The friendly atmosphere and great location at this ClubCorp course have long made Lochmere a favorite among local golfers.

Superbly conditioned and renowned for natural, challenging golf, Crooked Creek offers the area's most unique layout. Chuck Smith designed the exciting 18-hole course for players of all skill levels. While the course features a rolling, gentle front nine, the back nine requires aggresive play along and through the 130-foot bluffs of Middle Creek. The semi-private, year-round club features a clubhouse, grillroom, driving range, putting greens, chipping green, golf shop and club rentals.
