Our full continuum of care includes 72 Independent Living apartments, 24 Assisted Living units, 20 Specialty Care Assisted Living units on Kirkwood Lane and a 60 bed Skilled Nursing facility offering private pay and Medicare rehab. New residents can enter at anyone of these four levels of care.
Independent living features One, two and three bedroom units. Kirkwood's many services and amenities give one the opportunity to enjoy an independent carefree lifestyle. Assisted living has private assisted living units, each with its own balcony. In Assisted care residents are as independent as possible, enjoying many and varied activities provided on a daily basis.
Kirkwood Lane specialty care assisted living is designed to provide the care and services for individuals who need more monitoring and assistance with their activities of daily living due to mild or moderate memory loss.
Community amenities include breakfast, lunch or dinner in an elegant dining room, a private dining room for entertaining family, emergency call systems in each apartment, scheduled transportation to medical appointments, shopping centers and cultural events, a Chapel with full-time chaplain, full calendar of activities, fitness center and exercise classes, activities and game rooms, a Library and reading rooms, Beauty/barber shop, heated outdoor pool, walking trails, Garden plots, weekly housekeeping and linen services.
