Social
Residents will always be surrounded by warm, caring neighbors and a friendly and helpful staff. Plum Landing boasts a full activity program with something for everyone. Residents enjoy special scheduled outings for breakfast, lunch and dinner; trips to shows, parks, and museums. They also play cards, exercise, watch movies, Wii Bowl, and enjoy special entertainment right inside our building. Residents are encouraged to invite friends and family to join them for meals in our dining room, or even stay over in our guest apartment.
Support/Services
At Plum Landing you can take care of all of your errands right in the building— going to the hair salon, shopping at our country store, getting your blood pressure checked and even on-site banking.
Also included in your monthly rent are some additional services:
• Dinning allowance (representative of 15 lunches and 30 dinners)
• 24 hour security
• Twice monthly housekeeping
• Apartment maintenance
• Individually controlled heat
• Water and gas are included
• Scheduled transportation
• Private parking

Living Options
We offer studio and one-bedroom apartments that range from 400 to 800 square feet. Each apartment has a full bathroom and kitchenette; complete with a gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, sink and plenty of cabinet space. Each apartment also offers a balcony or patio with a lovely river view.
Spiritual
Plum Landing features a Chapel on the first floor where we have a non-denominational worship service every Sunday.
Who We Are
In 1962 Plum Landing opened its doors as a not-for-profit organization, providing a secure environment in a quiet and peaceful setting for active, mature adults who want to live independently. Plum Landing is proud of its reputation for being a true community where individualism is encouraged and respected. We are governed by a local board of directors who are prominent in all areas of local business, many of whom have had family that called Plum Landing home.
Location
Plum Landing offers a tranquil setting, but a convenient one nonetheless. We are just two miles south of the I-88 toll-way in Aurora on Lake St. (Rt. 31); just north of downtown.
