We are owned and operated by United Church Homes and Services, a church-sponsored, not-for-profit ministry affiliated with the Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ. Our casual, comfortable campus features cottages, town homes and apartments with spacious and thoughtful designs. Other residences on the campus include studio, one and two bedroom apartments in the Pavilion, designed for those who like the convenience of all services and amenities under one roof. As a full-service continuing care retirement community, Piedmont Crossing offers assisted living, skilled nursing and comprehensive rehabilitation. Piedmont Crossing is a retirement community filled with enriching activity. With a program of activities, dining options, a library and attractive walking trails, our residents have more choices than they have time. The Resident Services staff takes great pride in developing programs and entertainment options that appeal to everyone. Whether it's dinner out, an arts program, a trip to the local winery or a bridge tournament â€“ you'll find something enjoyable at Piedmont Crossing. Assisted Living at Piedmont Crossing allows residents who need assistance with activities of daily living the convenience of such services in a private room with their own furnishings and 24 hour staffing. Residents pay a monthly fee that includes 3 meals per day, housekeeping, personal assistance, and social and recreation activities. Piedmont Crossing HomeCare Assistants will be available to provide professional, dependable and compassionate care. Our HomeCare staff is extensively trained, ensuring the highest quality personalized care available. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation and long-term care are available at Piedmont Crossing's Health Care Center. Residents may qualify for Medicare benefits for a short-term rehabilitation stay at The Cape when discharged from the hospital to recover from illness or surgery. Our Medicare-certified nursing center has private and semi-private rooms where residents receive quality care from a licensed nursing staff under the supervision of a Physician and a licensed Health Care Administrator.
